Contact the editors
You can reach the editors by email at info@sonlatourism.com or through the form on this page. We read every message, and reply by email when a reply is needed.
How to reach us
Email: info@sonlatourism.com. That is the only address for the guide. The form below sends to the same editors. We do not publish a phone number, and we do not take messages through social media.
Please write in English or Vietnamese. Short messages are fine; what matters is that we can find the page and the point you are writing about.
Corrections
Corrections are the messages we value most. Roads, fares, ticket prices and opening hours in the mountains change faster than any guide can track, and travellers who have just been there are often the first to know. A good report answers four questions:
- Which page, and which sentence or table row?
- What did you find instead?
- When did you find it? The date matters.
- How do you know? A link to an official source, a photograph of a price board, or what happened to you on the road.
Once a correction is confirmed, the page changes and the corrections log on the about page records it. We credit "a reader" unless you ask to be named.
Questions about a page
If something on a page is unclear, ask. If several readers ask the same thing, the page needs rewriting, and we will do that. We can explain what a page says and where the facts come from. We cannot plan an individual itinerary, check availability, or tell you whether a particular road is open today; for that, ask your accommodation or local authorities.
Advertising enquiries
Advertising enquiries are welcome at the same address. Please say which pages or sections you are interested in and when. Advertisements appear only in the labelled ad spaces; we do not sell mentions in the text, sponsored articles presented as editorial, or changes to what a page says. The advertising policy is on the about page.
What we cannot help with
- Bookings of any kind. The guide does not sell or arrange travel.
- Visa applications or individual immigration questions. Use the official portal or an embassy.
- Emergencies. If you are in difficulty, contact local emergency services and your embassy or consulate.
- Complaints about a business. We do not mediate; contact the business or the local authorities.
Before you write
Check the "last checked" date under the section you are writing about. If that date is recent and your information is older, the page may already reflect the change. If the source linked under the section says something different from the page, that is exactly the kind of report we want, and a short note with the link is enough.
For conditions on the day, such as whether the road to Ta Xua is open after heavy rain or whether boats are running on Quynh Nhai lake, your accommodation and local people will know far sooner than we can. We are glad to hear afterwards what you found, so that the next reader benefits.
How replies work
Messages go straight to the editors. If your message needs an answer, we reply by email to the address you give. Corrections are checked against a source before the page changes, which can take longer than a reply. We do not publish your name, your email or your message. The privacy page lists which fields the form collects and what happens to them.
Common questions
Questions readers ask
What email address should I use?
info@sonlatourism.com, or the form on the contact page. Both reach the editors.
Can I phone the editors?
No phone number is published. The guide works by email and the form.
Will you publish my name?
Not unless you ask. A correction is credited to "a reader" by default.

Tell us which page you mean, what you found and when. A link to an official source or a photo of a price board helps us check it.
